Over the past couple weeks, I began to perform research and decided to contribute to the "Sport" section where I will be adding on a new topic which is Tennis. More specifically, I would like to perform a detailed analysis of how Tennis as a sport has grown in popularity because of social media. Sporting brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Uniqlo have all decided to select certain tennis players to become their brand ambassadors and in order to market their brand and products successfully, these companies utilize the players social media. I would add in a detailed explanation of how superstar tennis player "Roger Federer" has switched sporting brands from Nike to Uniqlo and how in over just a couple months, have transcended the clothing brand into such a successful sporting brand utilizing his popular social media accounts. Hi Kevin,
ReplyDeleteI think over these past years Tennis as a sport has grown in popularity since more people have developed an interest for it. Since it is not relatively known for its active-wear and having such a well known tennis player will definitely help its publicity.
